Windows install help
The Windows build is available as early access. Code signing is in progress, so Microsoft Defender SmartScreen may show a warning the first time you open the installer.
If SmartScreen appears
- Download and open SimpleTradeLog-win-x64.exe.
- If Windows shows Windows protected your PC, click More info.
- Confirm the app name is SimpleTradeLog-win-x64.exe.
- Click Run anyway.
This warning is expected for a new independent Windows app while code signing and reputation are being established.
Why this happens
Microsoft SmartScreen warns about new or unsigned apps until the publisher has code signing and enough download reputation. The app can still install normally after you choose More info and Run anyway.
